Terms and conditions

1. By entering the competition, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and Wessex Water Services Limited's privacy policy.

2. The promoter of this prize draw is:

3. This free competition is open to Wessex Water Services Limited's water supply customers only. Entrants must be UK residents, aged 18 years or over. This competition is not open to any employees of Wessex Water Services Limited or any associated group companies or their families. One entry is allowed per person. Wessex Water Services Limited's decision in relation to a person's eligibility to enter this competition will be final.

4. Wessex Water Services Limited is offering those who enter this competition a chance to win one of three £50 Love2Shop Booklet (10 x £5): https://www.highstreetvouchers.com/gifts/love2shop-gift-vouchers.

5. The winner of the competition and therefore the recipient of the prize, accepts that the prize is not manufactured or sold by Wessex Water Services Limited and it is provided by Wessex Water Services Limited only as a prize. Wessex Water Services Limited and any associated group companies will not be liable for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (save for death or personal injury caused by our negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

6. To enter this prize draw, entrants must first complete the Community Access Recreational Improvements Survey. On completion participants will be given the option to enter the prize draw by submitting their contact details on a form. This contact information shall only be used for the purposes of managing the prize. Entries are limited to one per person completing the survey, if the survey is completed for a different Wessex Water site then only one shall be taken forward to the draw.

7. The competition is open to entries from 12.00 on Friday 25 October 2019 until 23.59 on Sunday 1 December 2019. Late entries will not be accepted.

8. All prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered.

9. Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition without prior notice.

10. The winners will be selected from all valid entries received during the competition period by use of a random number generator.

11. The draw will be held on Tuesday 10 December and each winner will be notified within five working days of the draw, via email to the address submitted at the time of entry. Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to require the winner to provide evidence that they are eligible to enter and win this competition. Unsuccessful entrants will not be notified.

12. If a winner fails to respond within five working days of notification that they have won the draw or if the winner fails within five working days following a request from Wessex Water Services Limited to demonstrate that they are eligible to enter and win the competition, a redraw will take place from the remaining valid entries to select a new winner. If any winner declines a prize or fails to respond within the required period, they forfeit any right to the prize.

13. The prize will be sent via email to the address supplied within one calendar month of the winner confirming their address and the winner will be required to sign to acknowledge receipt.

14. Save as expressly provided in these terms and conditions and except for the purpose of carrying out the competition, contacting winners and sending out prizes, Wessex Water Services Limited will not use entrants' personal data without the express consent of the entrant. By choosing to enter the prize draw competition, you are agreeing that Wessex Water Services Ltd can hold and process your personal data for the purposes of administrating the competition. This will include: creating a list of all entrants, selecting a winner and contacting the winner following the draw. All personal data will then be deleted within 30 days of the prize being awarded and accepted unless you have opted to be contacted after this date.

By selecting that you would like to be contacted about your experience you are agreeing that Wessex Water Services Ltd can store your contact details and may on occasion approach you for further clarification about your responses or to address any concerns raised in the survey response.

By signing up to the newsletter, you are agreeing that Wessex Water Services Ltd can add you to an email distribution list and periodically send you news and information about Wessex Water’s community project or other relevant information for our customers. You can opt out at any point by contacting Wessex Water Services Ltd or using the opt-out function on the newsletter.

15. Wessex Water Services Limited will collect and use the personal information you provide when submitting your competition entry and to contact you in the event of a winning entry. We will use and feature your first name and city closest to you for publicity purposes. If you would prefer us not to use your details in this way, please contact us within two weeks of being informed that you have won by emailing dpo@wessexwater.co.uk. We will share your personal information with highstreetvouchers.com (part of Park Group PLC), the supplier of the prize, for the purposes of arranging its supply and delivery. 16. Wessex Water Services Limited does not accept responsibility for network, computer, hardware, software or technical failures of any kind which may restrict or delay the submission of an entry by the closing date. Wessex Water Services Limited has no responsibility for lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

17. Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to discount any inappropriate or offensive entries and to disqualify any entries if Wessex Water Services Limited, at its sole discretion, believes that there has been an attempt to manipulate or tamper with the operation of the competition (including, without limitation, submitting multiple entries).

18. Wessex Water Services Limited does not accept any responsibility for any infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights caused by entrants entering this prize draw.

19. By entering the competition you agree to be bound by the decisions of Wessex Water Services Limited, which are final in all matters relating to the competition. No correspondence will be entered into in respect of Wessex Water Services Limited's decisions.

20. Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend this competition where is becomes necessary to do so.

21. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of England and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, including the seeking of all injunctive or ancillary relief actions.
