Terms and conditions

1. By entering the competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You also confirm your agreement to all rules and guidelines applicable to the use of Facebook or Instagram (as the case may be) including the rules located at http://facebook.com/terms and https://help.instagram.com/

2. Your personal information will be used in accordance with Wessex Water Services Limited's privacy policy available at wessexwater.co.uk/privacy-policy.

3. The promoter of this competition is:

4. This competition is open to Wessex Water Services Limited's customers only. Entrants must be UK residents, aged 18 years or over. This competition is not open to any employees of Wessex Water Services Limited or any associated group companies or their families. One entry is allowed per person. Wessex Water Services Limited's decision in relation to a person's eligibility to enter this competition will be final.

5. Wessex Water Services Limited is offering those who enter this competition a chance to win one of 25 Wessex Water branded 400ml aluminium water bottles. All prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative offered.

6. To enter this competition, you must like Wessex Water Services Limited’s Facebook or Instagram post inviting entries into this competition and comment on the post with the phrase “I choose refill, not landfill”

7. The competition is open to entries from 00.01 16 June 2022 until 23.59 on 26 June 2022. Late entries will not be accepted.

8. The winners will be selected from all valid entries received during the competition period by use of a random number generator.

9. Each winner accepts that prizes are not manufactured or sold by Wessex Water Services Limited and are provided by Wessex Water Services Limited only as prizes. Wessex Water Services Limited and any associated group companies will not be liable for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this prize draw or accepting or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

10. Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition without prior notice.

11. Each winner will be notified via Facebook or Instagram direct message to the account from which the entry was made and will be asked to provide their full name and address in order to receive their prize. Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to require winners to provide evidence that they are eligible to enter and win a prize. Unsuccessful entrants will not be notified.

12. Prizes will be delivered via a courier. Wessex Water Services Limited will share your name and address with the chosen courier in order to arrange delivery.

13. Notwithstanding anything else contained in these terms and conditions, if a winner fails to respond with their full name and address within five working days of notification or fails to take delivery within two calendar months of confirming their name and address, they forfeit any right to such prize and a redraw may take place from the remaining valid entries to select another winner for that prize.

14. Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to discount any inappropriate or offensive entries and to disqualify any entries if it, at its sole discretion, believes that there has been an attempt to manipulate or tamper with the operation of the competition (including, without limitation, by setting up multiple Facebook or Instagram accounts in order to submit multiple entries).

15. Wessex Water Services Limited does not accept any responsibility for any infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights caused by anyone entering this competition.

16. Save as expressly provided in these terms and conditions and except for the purpose of carrying out the competition, contacting winners and sending out prizes, Wessex Water Services Limited, will not use entrants’ personal data without their express consent. 17. By entering the competition you agree to be bound by the decisions of Wessex Water Services Limited, which are final in all matters relating to the competition. No correspondence will be entered into in respect of Wessex Water Services Limited's decisions.

18. Wessex Water Services Limited reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend this competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of England and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England, including the seeking of all injunctive or ancillary relief actions.
